Long Canyon Trail
Long Canyon Trail is a mild trail located in Wood Ranch in Simi Valley that is great for all skill levels as well as children and leashed dogs. It extends 2.35 miles along the top of the ridge south of Long Canyon Village. Along the trail, enjoy views of Wood Ranch and Simi Valley. The trail ends where it joins the eastern end of Long Canyon Road. From this point, you can choose to return the same way you came or return using Long Canyon Road, adding 1.25 miles to your hike. Long Canyon Trail was cut in 1999 by New Urban West, the developers of Long Canyon Village. It is maintained by the Rancho Simi Trailblazers and patrolled by the Volunteer Trail Safety Service.
How to Get There:
The Long Canyon Trail can be found on the north side of Long Canyon Road. It is located a few hundred feet east of Wood Ranch Parkway.
