Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Festival
Come enjoy two days of southern-style fun at the largest Cajun & Blues music festival west of the Mississippi while enjoying delicious Cajun-creole cuisine and shop at one-of-a-kind vendor booths.
Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival is an annual event hosted by The Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise to benefit both Cajun heritage and the people of Simi Valley and surrounding areas. Cajun-Creole food such as jambalaya and crawfish — BBQ sandwiches and hot dogs are also popular! Funnel cake, fruit smoothies, and kettle corn will satisfy that sweet tooth! Check out all the food booths and enjoy fantastic food while listening to the music!
Each day there is a Mardi Gras style parade with stilt walkers, costumed characters, marching bands and everybody is invited to join in. So show off your beads, spin your umbrellas, pull on your masks and have a ball parading throughout the park. Tall characters, short people, thin, fat, costumed or not, join the parade and dance, prance, march and enjoy.
